EU-Angola Committee on Investment Facilitation Adopts Rules of Procedure
Decision No 1/2026 (CELEX: 32026D1957) of the Committee on Investment Facilitation established by the Sustainable Investment Facilitation Agreement between the European Union and the Republic of Angola was published in the Official Journal L on 26 August 2026. The Decision, adopted on 3 March 2026, sets out the Rules of Procedure for the Committee, pursuant to Article 44(2) of the Agreement signed in Luanda on 17 November 2023. The Rules of Procedure provide the operational framework for investment facilitation and cooperation between the EU and Angola. The Decision entered into force on the date of its adoption. The Co-chairs signing the Decision were Victor Hugo Guilherme for Angola and Joanna Szychowska for the European Union.
