Minister Valdez Marks National Tourism Week with Focus on Sector Investments and Canada Strong Pass
On April 20, 2026, the Honourable Rechie Valdez, Minister of Women and Gender Equality and Secretary of State (Small Business and Tourism), issued a statement to mark National Tourism Week. Parks Canada and TIAC Renew Partnership for Tourism Sector

Government of Canada Announces $1.9 Million in Tourism Investments in Alberta
Prairies Economic Development Canada (PrairiesCan) announced a combined investment of $1,940,281 distributed to eight projects across Alberta as part of the Tourism Growth Program. Funding recipients range from accommodation providers to cultural sites and Indigenous tourism operations. Atlantic Canada Welcomes 2026 Cruise Season with New Investment

Competition Bureau Warns Against Bid-Rigging on Public Contracts

Canada Supports Diversifying Seafood Exports at Seafood Expo Global
