Regulatory Amendments to Egg Levy and Chicken Quota Orders
The Canadian Egg Marketing Levies Order was amended to set new levy rates for producers in Quebec, New Brunswick, Manitoba, British Columbia, Prince Edward Island, and Alberta. Separately, amendments to the Canadian Chicken Marketing Quota Regulations were published. These changes adjust financial obligations and production quotas for producers and may affect supply arrangements for food retailers and distributors in these provinces.
