Bills to Improve Access to Mental Health Services in Medicare

Both H.R. 8081 and S. 4202 propose amendments to title XVIII of the Social Security Act, aiming to improve access to mental health services under the Medicare program. The House bill was referred to the Committee on Energy and Commerce as well as Ways and Means. The Senate bill was read twice and referred to the Committee on Finance.
