Commission Decision (EU) 2026/2349 recognises Strategic Projects under Critical Raw Materials Act
Commission Decision (EU) 2026/2349 of 9 October 2026, published in OJ L on 22 October 2026, recognises a list of critical raw material projects as Strategic Projects under Regulation (EU) 2024/1252. The Decision follows a call for applications launched on 23 May 2024 and a second cut-off date of 15 January 2026, with 101 applications submitted, of which 98 were considered complete. Projects recognised include extraction, processing, recycling, and substitution of strategic raw materials across several Member States. The Decision, signed by Executive Vice-President Stéphane SÉJOURNÉ, addresses the applicants and relevant Member States, and aligns with the opinion of the European Critical Raw Materials Board.
Commission Implementing Decision (EU) 2026/2267 establishes reporting formats for environmental data
Commission Implementing Decision (EU) 2026/2267 of 13 October 2026, published in OJ L on 20 October 2026, sets out the format and frequency of data and the list of raw materials to be reported by Member States under Regulation (EU) 2024/1244. The Decision repeals Implementing Decision (EU) 2019/1741 and applies from 1 January 2028. Reporting obligations for installations rearing poultry and pigs are phased, with first reporting years ranging from 2027 to 2032 depending on capacity. The Decision was signed by Commissioner Jessika ROSWALL.
Commission Implementing Decision (EU) 2026/2326 amends reporting requirements under Directive 2010/75/EU
Commission Implementing Decision (EU) 2026/2326 of 13 October 2026, published in OJ L on 20 October 2026, updates Implementing Decision (EU) 2018/1135 to simplify and align reporting requirements for Member States under Directive 2010/75/EU. The amendments reflect changes introduced by Directive (EU) 2024/1785 and Regulation (EU) 2024/1244. The Decision introduces prefilled templates from 2028, modifies reporting timelines for installations rearing poultry and pigs, and revises requirements on environmental management systems and best available techniques. Commissioner Jessika ROSWALL signed the Decision.
