The investigation, launched under case number M.11944 on 4 November 2025, focused on whether MMG might divert supply away from European stainless steel producers in favour of affiliates controlled by China's SASAC. MMG now has the opportunity to respond, inspect the case file, and request an oral hearing. A final decision is expected by 30 November 2026.
