Countervailing duties on Chinese and Egyptian glass fibre fabrics extended

Commission Implementing Regulation (EU) 2026/1928 of 7 August 2026 extends definitive countervailing duties to imports of certain woven and/or stitched glass fibre fabrics originating in the People’s Republic of China and the Arab Republic of Egypt. The regulation maintains duties on these products as extended to imports brought to offshore installations, and to products consigned from the Kingdom of Morocco and Türkiye, following an expiry review under Article 18 of Regulation (EU) 2016/1037. The review period covered 1 January 2024 to 31 December 2024, assessing continuation of subsidisation and injury. The investigation found that key subsidy schemes remain active and countervailable, as detailed in the Official Journal (CELEX: 32026R1928).

Provisional anti-dumping duty imposed on Chinese silico-manganese welding wire

Commission Implementing Regulation (EU) 2026/1929 of 7 August 2026 imposes provisional anti-dumping duties on imports of certain wires of silico-manganese steel originating in the People’s Republic of China. The regulation follows an anti-dumping investigation initiated on 11 December 2025 and a complaint lodged by a group of EU producers. The provisional duties are set following findings of dumping margins between 75.3% and 102.4%, and price undercutting of up to 52%. The duties apply from the day following publication in the Official Journal (CELEX: 32026R1929).

Revised anti-dumping duties on Chinese iron or steel fasteners for new exporter

Commission Implementing Regulation (EU) 2026/1926 of 7 August 2026 amends Implementing Regulation (EU) 2022/191, regarding anti-dumping duties on imports of certain iron or steel fasteners from the People’s Republic of China. Following a request for new exporting producer treatment by Ningbo Orange Hardware Co., Ltd., the Commission determined the applicant met the relevant NEPT conditions. The company is thus included among cooperating exporting producers not in the original sample and will be subject to the 39.6% duty rate applicable to that category (CELEX: 32026R1926).
