Delegated Regulation sets pollutant durability multipliers for Euro 7 heavy-duty vehicles

Commission Delegated Regulation (EU) 2026/1216, adopted on 9 June 2026 and published on 13 August 2026, amends Regulation (EU) 2024/1257 to set out durability multipliers for gaseous pollutants of Euro 7 heavy-duty vehicles in categories M3, N2, and N3. The regulation establishes a multiplier of 1.2 for diesel engines, aligning these vehicles with categories M1, N1, and M2. The regulation enters into force twenty days after publication in the Official Journal.

Definitive countervailing duty imposed on some woven/stitched glass fibre fabrics from China and Egypt

Commission Implementing Regulation (EU) 2026/1928 of 7 August 2026, published on 10 August 2026, renews the imposition of definitive countervailing duties—ranging from 17.0% to 30.7% for China and 10.9% for Egypt—on imports of certain woven or stitched glass fibre fabrics, also covering circumvention via Morocco and Türkiye, following an expiry review pursuant to Article 18 of Regulation (EU) 2016/1037. The duties also apply to related imports brought to offshore installations.

Provisional anti-dumping duty imposed on silico-manganese steel wires from China

Commission Implementing Regulation (EU) 2026/1929 of 7 August 2026 imposes a provisional anti-dumping duty—ranging from 75.3% to 102.4%—on imports of certain wires of silico-manganese steel originating in China. The regulation follows an investigation based on Article 7 of Regulation (EU) 2016/1036 due to evidence of injurious dumping and significant distortions. Duties are applied accordingly to named exporting companies and other imports.

Anti-dumping duty amendment for fasteners: new exporting producer treatment

Commission Implementing Regulation (EU) 2026/1926 amends Implementing Regulation (EU) 2022/191, granting Ningbo Orange Hardware Co., Ltd. a 39.6% anti-dumping duty for certain iron or steel fasteners from China, following acceptance of a request for new exporting producer treatment. Regulation entered into force following publication on 10 August 2026.
