FedNor Invests in Northern Ontario Tourism

Federal Support for Jasper Housing and Recovery

The federal government has announced over $160 million for Jasper's recovery from the 2024 wildfire. This includes interim housing, permanent housing construction, and funds for wildfire mitigation. Approximately $30 million is allocated for temporary housing, with 320 units ready by mid-February. An additional $9.4 million will accelerate building 240 permanent homes.
