Chad Collins, MP for Hamilton East—Stoney Creek, announced a $10 million investment for deep energy retrofits in 123 CityHousing Hamilton townhouses. The project aims to cut energy consumption by over 60% and greenhouse gas emissions by 90%. Improvements include prefabricated assemblies, solar panels, and energy-efficient heat pumps, supported by $14.3 million from CMHC and $2.6 million from CityHousing Hamilton.
