Canada Announces New Support for Businesses Affected by U.S. Tariffs
On April 15, 2025, Minister François-Philippe Champagne announced measures for Canadian businesses impacted by U.S. tariffs. The remission framework for automakers allows tariff-free imports of U.S.-assembled vehicles, contingent on Canadian production and investment. Temporary relief is also provided for U.S. goods used in Canadian manufacturing and public services, and the Large Enterprise Tariff Loan Facility is now open for applicants needing liquidity support.

CBP Announces 2025 Trade and Cargo Security Summit
