Preliminary Dumping Duties Levied on Turkish Corrosion-Resistant Steel Sheet

The CBSA made a preliminary determination on April 17, 2025, regarding dumping of corrosion-resistant steel sheet from Türkiye, specifically by Borçelik Çelik Sanayi Ticaret A.Ş. The affected products are classified under various tariff codes. Provisional duties are now in effect for these imports pending a full inquiry by the CITT, which has up to 120 days to issue an order or finding. The amount of duty payable is capped by the estimated margin of dumping; interest provisions of the Customs Act apply to any late payments. The Statement of Reasons will be released within 15 days of the decision.
