Library and Archives Canada Scholar Awards Honor Cultural Contributors

On June 30, 2025, Library and Archives Canada, in collaboration with the LAC Foundation and founding sponsor Air Canada, announced the 2025 LAC Scholar Awards. Five Canadians were recognized for significant contributions to the creation and promotion of Canada’s cultural and literary heritage: Danny Ramadan, Gabrielle Boulianne-Tremblay, Margaret MacMillan, Rupi Kaur, and Tomson Highway.

Canada to Provide $3 Million for Indigenous Participation in UN Processes
