Federal Egg Quota Regulations Amended for 2025 Marketing Year
The Canadian Egg Marketing Agency Quota Regulations have been amended, as published in Canada Gazette, Part II, SOR/2025-123 and SOR/2025-124. These amendments set the number of dozens of eggs that producers may market under both federal quotas (Schedule 1) and special temporary market requirement quotas (Schedule 1.1) for the period from December 29, 2024, to December 27, 2025. The regulatory updates, authorized under the Farm Products Agencies Act, provide the framework for egg marketing in the upcoming year and directly affect quota allocations for producers across Canada.
