Canada Responds to China's Tariffs with Agricultural Support

In response to substantial tariffs imposed by China on Canadian agricultural products, the Government of Canada announced new supports for the sector. Agriculture Minister Kody Blois revealed enhancements to the AgriStability program, increasing compensation rates and payment caps for 2025.
