Separating government relations into 25 distinct channels (and newsletters) at a fixed weekly cadence, our readers can monitor government activity from different perspectives and track it over time.

Content

We are constantly expanding the scope of data we ingest for our newsletter.
Currently we filter on:

  • committee meetings in the House and the Senate in federal parliament, which we always summarize within the week (official transcripts often take two weeks to publish)
  • official announcement from any branch of the federal government
  • regulatory updates in the federal Gazette
  • important open-data updates for regulated industries
  • social media (X) accounts of all MPs and Senators
  • official announcements from all provincial governments
  • regulatory (Gazette) updates for all provinces
  • Public consultation data
  • traditional news media articles
  • trade publications
  • lobby-data, with monthly analysis for each channel separately
  • White House press releases and executive orders
  • U.S. federal government announcements

Our data pipeline captures many thousands of data-points every week, and our AI engine sorts and tags these data, before sending them to our editors who review, summarize and synthesize the content in each of our channels.

Our history

Queen Street Analytics was published as a single-channel substack with a focus on lobbying analytics from August 2023 to December 2024, before we launched the current format in early February 2025.
